● Provide control engineering support in the execution of HDGE’s Aero-derivative Gas Turbine Generator project. Serve as primary interface for engineering on technical issues with testing, project management, service, and end customer.
● Deliver control project-specific control software, bills of material, drawings and other internal/external customer documents.
● Primary technical interface with GE Control Engineering team. Ensure the software to be delivered as project schedule.
● Develop/improve control system including software and hardware.
● Provide technical support through ITO phase. Attend project design liaison meeting with design institute and end user to collect all required design input and customer specific requirements. ● Develop and modify the existing standard design to meet customer specific requirements.
● Provide support to customer site installation and commissioning for new units.
● Provide support to after sales services. Conduct site service based on CSA contract.
● Coordinate engineering changes with Project management, Sourcing, and Production teams.
● Keep monitoring product configuration, make recommendation for improvement; update work instruction/guidelines.
● Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
● Other assigned tasks.
● Bachelor degree or above of Science in Engineering, Automation, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
● Previous experience with Gas Turbine packages or other of Industrial Controls applications.
● Three years' experience in a control engineering position.
● Two years' experience with Power Generation equipment (Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Reciprocating Engines, Compressors, Generators).
● Experience with Complicity or IFIX HMI software or other industrial HMI software packages.
● Experience with PAC RX3i or Micronet+ or MarkVIe programming software or other PLC programming applications.
● Demonstrated ability to work with a cross-functional team.
● Some off-hour availability and domestic/international travel is required.
● Proven interpersonal skills / Strong Communication Skills.
● English Speaking, Reading, Writing capabilities (CET-6 certification)
● A proven fast leaner, be proactive and passion to the technology.
● Master’s Degree in Thermal Engineering, Automation.
● Knowledge of Gas turbine.
